The design of the Vox Standard 25 guitar is obviously influenced by the Fender Stratocaster. Although the name of the guitar might seem to suggest a 25 inch scale length, the scale of the Standard 25 is actually 25½ inch. This 25½ inch scale is identical to the Fender Stratocaster and enhances the tonal brilliance of the guitar.
The Standard 25 features three DiMarzio FS-1 pickups. These pickups offer significantly more output and slightly less treble than the standard Stratocaster pickup.
The traditional "paddle" head stock shape of 1960 era Vox guitars is retained in the Standard 25. The head stock carries six individually sealed tuners.
