Role at Supersense: Letters Ballerina, Printing Technician, Perfectionist
Sense I could live without: Estrangement
Favorite Smell: damp soil, raisins
At Supersense I am dancing all day between wood type and lead type, beating my rhythm on these wonderful old printing machines that incite to movement and life. I am jumping from intuition to perfection and back to the joy of doing things with my hands, feeling structures, grasping ideas like objects, witnessing in slow motion how the world takes form right in front of my eyes - what a scenery, far away from the double-click madness. When I am not at Supersense I am an installation artist: I am creating rooms, indefinite spaces, symbolic gestures about losing and finding, about absence and presence, a sort of large size ambiguity, weaving the vagueness of things unremembered with the obscurity of things found - and to crown it all: the play of imagination on both of them. Not so very different from what we are trying at Supersense after all!
